Black Screen on Startup (just started, 15 hours in)
First off, the game has been running marvelously on my new system, very few issues/crashes at all. However, just this morning I was playing the Griffin School treasure hunt quest. I'd finished 5/6 and just had to go to the abandoned castle to find stuff. As I'm walking up, the game freezes. I hear sounds but nothing else works. Thus, I alt-tab out, expecting to see the game minimized or something. Nope. Gone, it's just crashed.
So fine, no big deal, I double click the Witcher 3 icon again to start back up, and all I get is a black screen that doesn't go away. Only way to quit the game is to ctrl-alt-del or alt-tab again, and once again, it just disappears. I've restarted my computer, and once again, nothing. It just starts up as a black screen, like the game doesn't know how to run anymore.
I thought it might be a graphics issue so I tried playing a few other games and they all run perfectly.
It's so weird because the game has been running GREAT. And now it won't even start. Any tips or ideas?
I'm running the game on a GeForce GTX 980, 16gb RAM, Intel i7 4ghz, Windows 10.
