BLADE RUNNER 2049 APPRECIATION THREAD

Welcome to the 2049 appreciation thread! Inspired by the amazing user DC9V thread which I implore you all visit and share your OG Blade Runner love here > blade-runner-appreciation-thread

While I will always love the original film, to me, 2049 really is the only film I'd say to people "A horrifically beautiful painting in motion." Supported by a lovely OST that moved me.

One of my favourite scenes and what truly made me think of a painting in motion, is this.

I like the original better, but whenever I watch this one I ENJOY EACH AND EVERY SECOND/FRAME. Not many films are capable of that

I prefer the original too, mainly because I think 2049 lost a little bit of its original "soul" by going "too" far in action movie. The first one was more "michael mann's style" where all camera shots are artistically crafted.

But still a great movie that I enjoy to "rewatch" time to time, that's for sure
