How do I block?
I use the 'E' key and Geralt cast Quen and noticed that sign are switching from Aard sign to Quen
when I hit E. Holding E down does nothing but Geralt just stand there with his arm extended.
This is happening in the tutorial. Blocking still dosen't work when my Vigor is at full.

Do you, by any chance, have the Full Combat Rebalance (FCR2) mod installed?
Because your issue suspiciously sounds like its feature to give you a chance to automatically block hits and making the 'E' key channel a Quen shield instead.

No, I don't have that mod install.
It's a new install.
I'm running Win 10 x64

Update:
I uninstalled the game and deleted relative registry keys and deleted
The Witcher 2 settings and config files
reinstalled and it's working fine now.
