Bloody Baron (Spoilers)

I am on the mission where you have to go the shrine and then go through the caves and get into Crow's Perch.

Now I know it's probably so simple and right in front of me, but I cannot - for the life of me - get past one part. I fought 1 hag and now I'm at a pool of water with stalactites/stalagmites on the other side, and I can see the well up above me, but I see nowhere else for me to go. What in the world do I do here? I'm baffled!

You can climb, there is ledge that goes up.

I got other question about this quest. I didn't kill Baron men but it seems the game thinks i did and i need take the combat way out. Any ideas?

I was wondering where that ledge was though. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I got weird problem. In the nilfgardian contact I avoided fighting baron's men. Quest log showed failed red cross next to defeat baron soldiers.
However when I go to baron's castle game thinks i killed them, ppl hide inside houses and guards attack me. Any idea what I did wrong or is it a bug? I wanted peaceful way out

It sounds to me that, although you didn't fight the baron's men, you turned hostile on them (otherwise, you wouldn't have had the - albeit failed - quest to defeat them). Maybe the game thinks "Hostile = kill"?

I don't know if there's a peaceful way out, but there's definitively a peaceful way "in". If you manage to get the timed answers right while at the inn, you can buy those guys a drink, you get no hostility, and you can enter the baron's castle just fine.

Thats the issue I indeed made the timed events right. They didn;t attack me etc, innerkeeper thanked me etc, still when I got to baron's keep i got attacked.
