Blurry/Pixelated Cutscenes

Okay, so I've been perusing threads for a fix to this issue and have yet to come across anything other than "lower lighting settings"...to me, this is not a fix. I don't want to lower settings, I want to max everything. For those of you who are unsure as to what I am referring: whenever a cutscene or dialogue is triggered, the screen is pixelated and blocky...it looks awful. I have the game maxed with no lag, so when a cutscene/dialogue is triggered, it is glaringly obvious and obnoxious. Any fixes? I have an AMD Radeon HD 6850 and I have Catalyst Control Center...if it's needed. Any help is appreciated, I want to get through this playthrough and into TW2...it's been on my shelf for far too long! >_

Not being that familiar with ATI cards is everything that can be set in CCC set to application controlled .

Yeah, everything is application controlled...apparently it's a game bug that happens with 16:10 resolutions.

The only thing that comes to mind off hand is making sure you have the latest
June 2010 Directx and the 2010 VC Redistributables

Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your card .

If I have DirectX 11, will it use a compatibility feature for DX9 games?

They install side by side...no interference from one to another and Witcher 1 is a DX 9 game .

Are you running the 1.5 patch ?

If any one still looking how to fix pixelated cutscenes there is solution that helps me.
Set Texture LOD in RadeonPro to negative value. For me works -0.2
