Boxed Verson Updated to TW2EE w/ All Patches Will Not Launch 
I purchased 2 versions of TW2. The CE Version form Amazon.com and the digital version from GOG.com. I recently reinstalled windows and had to reinstall TW2. I decided to install the one from GOG instead of my boxed version thinking it might be faster to finish..... The game d-loaded and installed with no problems. To my utter disappointment I was prevented from running the game due to getting a strange error ending in 142. I tried search for fix to this problem but could find information that would fix this horrible problem .
I then decide to uninstall the GOG version and install my CD version and after quite a bit of time wasted installing & downloading seemingly endless patches the final result ended with Error 142 AGAIN..... What in the Wide world of The Witcher is going on here guys? I just want to play the game I have played on my computer in the past with no problems. Please Help Me???
