Breakfast from around the world

I remember there was a food thread before, and I found this in my feed. Something to make your mouth water and tummy uproar ;)

Then that is not wise at all. It's best to have a big breakfeast and a small dinner, helps with maintaining a healthy life.

As a german I personally have never seen someone eat a lot of "wurst" and cheese for breakfast (except if he eats "Weißwurstfrühstück: http://typisch-bayerisch.de/wp/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/wei%C3%9Fwurstfr%C3%BChst%C3%BCck.jpg ), most people I now prefer brezels or something like that. ^^

Pet peeve of mine: America is not a country. It is a continent. Should say United States above that picture, and more specifically, Denny's.

The "Mexican breakfast", geez, that plate looks like someone threw up on it... no, Nachos aren't from Mexico. I will say chilaquiles (not chilequiles) are really good to help cure "la cruda" (hangover), but it is mostly a dish of central Mexico. That don't look like chilaquiles at all.

Good thing they found empanadas for Venezuela, a food that just about every country in America eats.

What? No beer for the German breakfast?

This may have something to do with the rather high rate of heart attacks in my country...

Well the German breakfast would be rather unusual to say the least. ^^ Most people either eat sweet breakfast with breadrolls, jam, honey, Nutella, boiled or scrambled eggs on Sundays, a glas of juice or Müsli with milk, I would say.

Well and Bavarians have their Weißwurstfrühstück (which for me is a rather weird habit), that has to be eaten before 12:00 with sweet mustard, pretzels and maybe a beer.

Damn. That picture is just too brown for me. Looks tasty but too depressing. Needs some vegetables! Red paprika, white onions and green cucumber. Bam! I'd eat that without a doubt! Oh and proper white bread is mandatory.

My breakfasts usually involves vegetables, sometimes a really good salad, ajvar, hot paprika, feta cheese, more vegetables, pasteta, eggs, to name a few ingredients. Obviously, BREAD is something I always try to include in everything I eat! God I love bread. I'd take a picture of a typical breakfest but I'm a bit lazy. Actually, sec.

Here's what a typical sandwich looks over here!

Note however, I did not make these. My wonderful, most awesome mom in the world, did :) I just had to appreciate the hell out of them, even took pictures! :p I would never take pictures of something I made. I mean, unless it's your job, who does that :p Well a hipster would do that. Uuuugh, hipsters. I gotta say, I'm an open minded guy, I accept all people and all "groups" but hipsters just annoy the shit out of me. Smug bastards. Anyway!

When I was taking the pics, she was all like "yo! You crazy or something, taking pictures of an ordinary sandwich!" And I was all like Batman and shit, retorting like a boss: "Mum, your love is materialized into one of the most delicious sandwiches ever. If one is grateful for food, one is grateful for ones mom as well." Bam! I went all zen on her! Then she was like, "GTFO with your bullshit, clear your room later!"

Aah I love my mom :D So cool, so gangstah.

Anyway, different ingredients elevate food to the next level and you definitely eat with your eyes as well as your mouth. It's important for the food to be presented aesthetically pleasing in order to stimulate all the senses, not just your palate. Vibrant, lush colours in your food bring some good energy with them. Good vibes baby!

Absolutely!!! Though, coffee is hardly a breakfast drink for me. I drink the stuff all day, every day, anytime of day. Breakfast is the first of many pots. Cups? Ha!

Its awesome so many of you eat veggies and salads for breakfast. I throw'um in with eggs. Eggs. Simple, but I've good fresh eggs every day for as long as I can remember--until university where all the eggs within walking distance taste like butt-powder-butt. Everything else tastes great except for those damned eggs.

I know, it's just that I usually lack time on the morning... and I don't know, I just don't feel like eating

The softest, tastiest, most heavenly fried batter soaked in sugar syrup and honey... it makes all of your teeth fall out but it's so worth it ;A;

At least that's what it is here (called tulumba), they might have different ones in Spain!

Indeed.

Eat breakfast like a king, dinner like a prince and supper like a beggar.
