Brock vs Wold potion Enhanced Edition

Hello, first of all, this game rocks!!!

I'm on board since the first witcher first edition and positively a fan of CDR.

Yesterday I patched my game to the EE version and the first thing that I did was to go and look if they fixed the Brock potion description and effects.

The Wolf potion increases the special effects percentages while having no penalties. The Brock potion does the exact same thing {based on its description in the Journal} BUT has some negative effects as well AND more toxicity AND needs more ingredients to create.

Why? Is there any reason to use the Brock potion since its essentially just a worse Wolf potion? Is there something that we should know? Maybe the Journal entry is wrong and Brock does something more than what it says?

Also, it's weird that the game manual calls this potion Badger instead of Brock. There is definately something going on with that potion and I want to know if its bugged or we are missing something? Maybe its Journal entry needs fixing.

Whatever it is I'm writing this here so that maybe someone from CDR decides to do something about it with the next patch.

What do you think?

It's a recurring problem, these erroneous or missing tooltips. Not only with potions, but equipment and other items are affected as well. Certain bonuses and effects that are happening, are simply invisible in the tooltip, and therefore impossible to be aware of unless you dig around in the game files. I believe this potion is one of the victims of this; in the game files, it also adds 15% extra chance for critical effects from the signs Aard and Igni, giving it an advantage over the Wolf potion. Even so, the potions are in need of re-balancing overall, as I fail to see any rhyme or reason behind most of them. I've already dealt with bombs and traps in my mod (CEO), and doing the potions is on my list of future tweaks, but the problem with invisible tooltips cause a lot of frustration when modding these things; I may have great ideas of what to do with the potions, but if these effects are hidden from the player, it's kind of useless.

EDIT: The names are also confusing, and the in-game names and the resource names never seem to match. I hope I am talking about the correct potion, but it's possible that I'm not. There are three potions that add to your Bleed/Burn/Poison critical effects. According to the resource files, Wolf also lowers your vitality by 30%, by the way. I'm not sure that's evident from the in-game tooltip.

Actually the inventory description of those two potions is wrong but the Journal description inclused the Igni and Aard bonuses. The problem is that both of them have the exact same bonuses hidden or otherwise. Brock has negative bonuses too and that's the problem. There is absolutely no reason to use Brock over Wolf.

The -30% Vitality penalty is nowhere to be found and even the text description of Wolf mentions that it has no penalties.

Can anyone from CDR answer about those two potions? Are they bugged?
