I purchase slaught-o-matics from the vending machines. When I equip, I have it in my hand, but if I change to a different weapon it completely disappears and then I'm left with only two weapons equipped in my inventory.
I have the scrapper perk from the crafting tree (automatically disassemble junk items), It looks as if when I change weapons it treats the weapon as junk and scraps it. I don't know if this is intentional or if it should be scrapping a weapon automatically.
