Bug: All skill progression perks appear to be broken in 2.01

+
Easiest way to test this is the skill that stops weapon sway when crouching and the skill that refills ammo when air dashing.

However, optical camo when grabbing someone does work, so has anyone done any further testing as to what progression perks are broken? Is there a way to test the various stats ones?

I did report this a couple of days ago to CDPR, however it's a pretty significant bug and needs to be fixed quickly by them!

There is a thread in reddit with some more extensive testing.

Same here! I reported it already. Hope to see a hotfix soon. Sucks to not benefit from them-- sure it's not game breaking but it kinda irks me a bit.

I don't know if this has been already posted (if so feel free to delete/merge this with bigger threads) but it looks like several passive rewards stopped working upon saving and loading a v 2.01 save file (either a new one or overwriting an old 2.0 and below save file). If you load a v 2.0 file they work correctly. They also work correctly in 2.01 once you reach a level that grants you a reward but stop working when you save and reload with that game version.
Noticed almost immediately after updating to 2.01 (I have optical camo and no longer triggers upon grabbing enemies from behind + crouch movement is slower than before).

See here for some examples: reddit post

Also, found this mod which should fix them all except for netrunner lvl 60 reward aka overclock lets you hack enemies through walls (author said can't do that): Fix Skill Progression Rewards Not Applying

EDIT: lel, was literally saying to merge this and happened (y)

It's a new bug introduced with 2.01, specifically related to loading saves. For some reason, many of the skill progression features aren't getting added to the player when the saved games load. The save itself is fine. A mod is available to temporarily fix it, until CDPR's next patch. (edit: I see that the previous poster already provided a link to the mod).

I tested it on the PS5 and identified the same problem, already registered a support ticket.
This problem deserves more attention than it is getting.

If anyone has found a way to fix it on consoles while it isn't fixed by CDPR, let us know.

The author of the PC mod said that the problem is a logical error in a loop function. I doubt that it can be fixed without access to the Red engine scripting, like the PC has.

I'm not playing the game until this gets fixed. It would've been OK if I was on PC (there's a mod that fixes it) but since I'm on Xbox Series X I have to wait for a patch. I just hope CD Projekt Red gets it sorted out soon.
