[BUG] Can't start quest from Druid - Gedyneith Oak

I see an exclamation mark over the druid near Gedyneith Oak on Skellige Islands but can't start the quest. I just can't talk to him.

There should be two druids there; one sitting down, and one stood a way off (possibly in the pond); talk to the standing one -- he may wander off up the slope as you approach, so just follow him. If that doesn't work, load a save, go away and come back later, or just keep hammering the button.

Tried reloading save, switching languages, quick-travelling, meditation. Nothing works, when I aproach him he says Gwynblade, and then when I try to start quest he only says "Witcher.." and "Mhm?"

I had the same bug in my first playthrough. I was wondering, what is this quest even?

Everyone has the same problem it's a bug that I hope they are going to fix

It's not a major quest, it just let's you talk to the other druid before you start talking to the guy you actually need (the skellige archdruid)

I have the same thing on PC.
Doesn't matter if you speak to him in the first place, the exclamation mark will be over him anyway.

Me too. He is alone, sitting outside, and he doesn't respond... hope it could be fixed because, if I'm not wrong, he is a merchant and sells some diagrams.

Yes, if you follow him he goes to sit in the place you described.

i have come across this bug as well last night,i can talk to gremist but not the person described in the OP.it looks like i can bypass the bug without talking to him,i haven't looked into i've only gone to gremist to play gwent so far although gremist has told me what i need to do to continue the quest.

Same thing, had done the quest with no problems but apparently the druid is still with the exclamation mark sitting on of the hill, top of the master herbalist Gremist.. I haven't spoken with him prior to Gremist, most likely why.

Others said that it might be a wrong marker placed on that NPC hopefully CDPR fixed this on 1.07.
