[BUG] Gert Borel Quest Icon [minor spoiler?]

I've just run into Gert Borel outside a shack in between Reardon Manor and Benek, and he's asked me to do him in on account of his suffering. I've obliged the poor fellow but upon doing so a Quest Available icon has appeared on the map in the same location. I cannot see any other quest interaction in the area..
After a bit of travelling around and fast travelling back to the location, the icon is still there, yet no person or object to interact with.

Hi thanks for the response, after a game crash a few minutes ago I noticed the quest icon has moved (or perhaps disappeared as coincidentally another quest icon appeared?) to a small circular pond 180m east of Crows Perch. This icon also has no interaction available at various times of the day/night.

Also i'm on xbox, am I able to send save file from xbone?

A bit late but I'm having the same problem, also lots of Reddit people with this problem. Seems like a quest trigger bug. There is a corpse for Gert but he also stands next to it with a question mark above his head.

Same thing just happened to me. The icon is driving me nuts.
