hey, i have this bug since a long time ago, that when I take a weapon, well, it doesn't appear and I never found the solution can someone help me pls?

HI,
yes i used to install mods but this bug has suddenly come after i finish the DLC phantom liberty and in that moment i hasn't install mods yet.

aaah t'es français cool j'avais pas lu la fin enfaite pour faire simple ce bug ne m'arrive que quand je prend une arme en main et c'est arriver pile a la fin de la mission du dlc quand on voit la fusée décoller avant jamais eu ce bug. et merci de m'avoir répondu

So when the issue occurred, you had never used mods. Good point, but if you did since (even if you removed them), it will be hard to figure out why it happened (and still happen).
Did you try to start a new playthrough to check if it also happen or not? (starting at Phantom Liberty point to get access to everything right away and avoid the whole intro).
If it doesn't, well it's likely something in your save files, so hard to fix I think. But you can try some "old scholl" methods if you didn't :
> Visiting a joytoy.
> If you didn't complete the quest "Sweet Dreams", it may could fix your issue (not sure).

And I also assume you played a bunch since the issue occurred, so you don't have saves created before it happen?

Nothing worked, however I tried with an old save from before the final mission of the DLC and there is no bug, so I think the source is this mission. Yes, it's the first time I see someone encountering such a bug and really no idea if there is a fix or if it's even possible

If you have a save just before the final mission, can you try to complete it, to check if you still encounter the same issue. If it is reproducible, well there is definitely something in your save which trigger the issue. If not, well it will be hard to find.

Anyway, if you didn't, I suggest to directly contact the support ("contact us" button). Include the link of the thread, it may help.
And I didn't ask, it's just visual, you can use the weapon even if it doesn't appear in your hand?

I noticed you're using gorilla arms. So, try this. Go to a ripper doc and remove them so you can have your original arms. Then see if that fixes your problem. Reinstall your gorilla arms and see if that brings it back or fixed it permanently.

I actually had a bug appear during Judy's quest line and I had no hands when I gave Judy a cig. No matter how many times I reloaded, it wouldn't get fixed. So I had an idea. Before going to Judy's apartment, i went to a ripper and removed my gorilla arms. Lo and behold, my hands reappeared during the cigarette case sequence.

To further experiment, I reapplied my gorilla arms again and start the quest and guess what? My hands were gone a again.

So try removing yours and see if it fixes the problem. A lot of script errors have occurred since patch 2.3 dropped, unfortunately. The game is operating as if we were back in 2.0 or 2.1. A lot of bug fixes were undone with this latest patch. :<

Some are minor (like Trauma Team sites never de-spawning as they should) and others a bit more severe. I'm hoping we'll get more bug fixes to bring this game back on stable grounds (like 2.21 for example, was a pretty good and stable experience).

PS. I only play 100% vanilla via PC (psycho settings but no RT). Hope this helps!

Great!
However, for some, the fix is not permanent (for others it is permanent). When they quit the game and restart it later, they have to pick up a body again. A bit annoying, but it's not like if there wasn't any volonter gangoons around Night City to nicely provide you a corpse
