Bug in Codgers Quarry. Can't start quest.

Hi!

I saw an exclamation mark on the map in Codgers Quarry and went there. However the NPC there who is supposed to give me a quest is hostile and attacks me. I've never been there before so I definitely haven't pissed him off in some way. If I kill him the mark dissappears but no quest fails or starts. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Ye same bug for me. Started the quest. Lost the fight reloaded(save before entering the quarry) and now every NPC in the place wants to kill me for no reason?

Can't find a way to submit or surrender. Much like you tried killing them but quest marker goes away too.

Not sure what to do or what. Kinda spoiling the game a bit for me.

soo many of these bugs exist,
1. they arent bandits, they are peasants which idk why they would attack esp with a ! over his head

this game seriously .. needs fixed.. its driving me bonkers i love it but hate the game at the same time, shrug

anyone have a bump on this ? i dont want to go near the cat gear until its fixed (as a part is there) and well frankly that quest i dont even know what it is, no one i know can start it either.

I've been redoing this quest, 4 alghouls is just smashing me at lvl 4 but I'm using it for practice. What I've noticed is if you walk close with a sword out the workers go aggressive, just walk up with weapons sheathed.

yea i put my sword in, walked VERY SLOWLY towards them .. fixed the issue!

I have tried this with my sword sheathed and the guy still attacks me. There are no algouhls if I kill him, just a cave with some loot,
