[Bug] Infinite loading screen: Shrieker contract quest in Velen.

So I came across the same bug that everyone has been talking about recently; when doing this particular quest line. After I killed the Shrieker (Cockatrice) and went to collect it's head, it went into an infinite loading screen. I take it was suppose to load a cut scene where Geralt cut's off it's head. However it never finishes loading and has me exit out of the game through alt tabbing out. Is the cut scene might not be synced up properly which is causing the issue?

Anyhow I got passed this by taking all of the loot from the body with exception of it's head. Meditated a day and then took it head. The cut scene never came up and I was able to complete the quest.

I get this too. trying to complete the contract and take the trophy sends the game into infinite loading. going to test the above method to see if the cutscene is the issue.

confirmed, the bypass works by taking out all other items - meditating - and then collecting the head

Same for me. I tried load an older save and redo the contract but infinite loading screen.
