[Bug] Map Marker Reset on Abandoned Place after Ghosts of the Past

I have experienced this bug on PC, but It's likely it appears on all platforms.

During the quest "Ghosts of the Past", it takes you through a location that is normally marked as an "Abandoned Place". If you cleared this POI prior to starting Ghosts of the Past, the map marker resets to a question mark (as though it were undiscovered) during the quest. If you return after completing the quest, it does not fix the icon on the map, even though the villagers who moved into the "Abandoned Place" will have returned.

Came across this just today actually. I take it if you did not uncover this site and complete Letho's quest line it won't occur. However if you already went through it without a save prior to it, your pretty much screwed. I know on my other save file where Letho (because I killed him in W2) never shows up it never bugs out like this.
