[Bug] Mouse input stops completely

+
Depending on the location in the game, the mouse input periodically stops working, but the keyboard input continues to work, this happens exclusively in this game and only since the 2.0 update.
I have also noticed that the mouse does this on my desktop as well when I switch out of the game to my second screen, as long as the bug is currently happening in the game.

It also seems to be related to loading new locations, if I have been in one location for a while, like several minutes, this bug stops happening until I move on to the next location. It seem to happen more frequently on indoor locations than outside, but not exclusively.

I have a short video where the problem occurs, its in the Basement of the 7th Hell Club.

Any Ideas what is happening?
I've already changed settings a bit but with no difference (V-Sync on/off, G-Sync on/off)

CP2077 Settings set to High (V-Sync deactivated)
Win10 (Up-To-Date)
Nvidia RTX 3080 (Newest Drivers)
2 Monitors, main one with G-Sync

If you need additional PC specs or settings, please ask which ones you think would be helpful.

At seemingly-random intervals, my mouse will freeze up, causing me to have to re-plug it. It'll then be fine for a bit before inevitably freezing again. There are occasions where it'll freeze for about a second, then come back. The mouse itself is perfectly fine and runs issue-free on literally everything else on my PC.

The same issue has occurred with my KB, but less often. Both KB+M are Corsair-brand being driven by iCue software. I've tried disabling iCue to no avail. I've also read that the Nvidia overlay could cause such an issue, so I disabled that as well... nothing. Tried different USB ports (all 3.0), made sure all other control peripherals were unplugged... you get the picture.

I've noticed several others have been having the same issue. I'm hoping this gets elevated to priority, since this has made the game virtually unplayable for a number of people.

Having a very similar issue. Every few seconds it's like the game is still running but all mouse and keyboard input goes dead for a second. Results in weird skips like I see in your video and sometimes an issue where the last direction I pressed e.g. WAS or D is still being input and I can't control it

I've been having these issues with a Corsair wireless mouse and keyboard in other games, too, so I wonder if it's related to changes to icue (or indeed to Nvidias replacement of GeForce Experience with their app -- I updated both recently). I haven't noticed it in Cyberpunk but haven't played much recently.

I believe i've found a solution but I have no idea why it works. Found this while trying to figure out this issue as it was happening regardless of graphics settings.

If you go into your GOG/Games/Cyberpunk2077/Bin/ folder and then launch the game directly from the .exe, this issue disappears as it bypasses the "launcher". Annoying that this is the solution, but it seems to indicate there is some sort of issue caused by the launcher that appears before you start the game

Anyone from the admin team able to investigate this and can others to test it to see if it's not just me.
