[BUG] NPC heads disappear when saving the entity

Bug Description:
After creating an NPC in an Entity Template, when saving it he's heads disappears (i.e isn't on the mesh tree anymore).

It's probably just a misbehavior on my side but AFAIK no one on the Forums has found how to get it working.

Steps to reproduce:
- Create a custom NPC with a head
- Try to save, the head disappears

Frequency:
100%

Your PC specs:
Intel Core i7 930
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R 2.0
G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x4GB 1600 MHz C8
Gigabyte GTX 470 SOC
Windows 8 Pro

I believe Phillippas Head is faulty anyhow. Find out whether another head works.

In FCR2 Phillippas head is also missing.

Well in my experience and in the editor this is happening regardless of the target NPC.

On adding a scabbard to the geralt_component template - when saving the scabbard at Geralt's right (or left) leg dissapears:



Maybe we are doing some fault with the linking (CMeshSkinningAttachment?)
Damn, this thing is rather annoying!

edit filemon shows me NAME COLISION errors for editor.exe obviously trying to create dirs in "The Witcher 2" folder.

Although I'm starting it with administrator rights ("execute as" in my restricted account).

So I made the whole folder accessible (as it should have been when starting the editor with full rights.)

Still the same. Not sure whether this is causing the problem:

edit: ok, stupid me. Now saving works! In the tab Body Parts I added dagger_scabbard_1 as a body part and selected it as a component.

I didn't try that kind of accessory, only got that with heads for now and they use CHeadAttachment..

The NAME COLLISION you show is not an issue, it's just that REDkit automatically tries to create the parent folders of the target path then skips it if the folder already exists, this is a normal routine and not by all means an unwanted behavior (or that's the way I see it).
You see it tries with each parent folder then saves the file itself which says SUCCESS. :)

BTW, FileMon is deprecated in favor of ProcMonitor. I looked at it on my computer and it shows that REDkit is constantly trying to access a regkey and it says non-existing (probably not related to this particular problem).
