Bug Report: HUD gun stats window stuck on screen

Just after taking out a group of thugs in the game I went through my loot, at my characters feet was a shotgun. When I left the Inventory menus into the game the window would not leave my display, It has happened enough times for me to become annoyed, it doesn't go away so I have to restart the game again. Please look into this for the next patch.

The cropped screenshot shows what my HUD looks like during this time. It blocks hints and important viewing space most of all.

I also have the same problem, tried restarting, sleeping, skiiping time, none helped

I have the same issue. I was looting during the end of a quests combat and then the npcs (Panam and Soul) started talking to each other mid loot and I couldn't loot anymore and now this damn pop up won't go away. I've disabled everything in the settings under interface and toggled everything I can. I've slept, waited time, fast traveled, died, etc. I dont even have the item its showing in my inventory. I need this fixed cause it takes up a huge chunk of the screen.

You are not the only one here as i have to reload my save to get rid of it

Got this problem and a quick fix is just to put your crosshairs onto some other weapon and it'll go away.

Yep. Looking at/grabbing another item (from a vending machine) fixed it for me.

I’m having the same problem on PS4 Pro but it didn’t start for me till after the 1.06 patch gun is stuck on hud blocks quest updates and quest log completely have to reload into game for it to disappear but comes right back the second you pick up a gun.
