Да заебали разработчики!!! Вы пофиксите этот баг или нет? Сколько можно ждать? Из-за этого не могу пройти игру, уже все побочные задания выполнил.
I don't suppose there is anyway we can draw more attention to this problem. I mean, how many people could this be affecting?
Hi guys, after a week of struggling with this problem, i think i discovered my fix. I’m using 1.08 patch.
First of all, sorry for my bad english
The time i received the quest “Ugly Baby”, i step aside that quest and i started the quest “The Last Wish” of Yen. After “The Last Wish”, i tried to start the “Ugly Baby” quest.
Ok.. i also encountered the same problem with the sergeant, he keeps on telling me “nothing here for you”.
I already loaded my old save files (after the quest “The Last Wish”), meditated several hours/days, upgraded to patch 1.08.3, reinstalled the game and all DLCs but still no luck. I also reinstalled the game and use only 1.07 patch but i can’t load my save because it’s from 1.08 patch.
Again..desperately, i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it.. but i tried to change the installation path/folder. I patched the game to 1.08.3 (latest). I loaded my save (after the quest “The Last Wish”) but still i encountered the glitch with the sergeant. I loaded my old save (BEFORE the quest “The Last Wish”) travelled to Valen, and i noticed immediately the Stablemaster grooming the horse beside the Stable
I talked to the sergeant and the quest is now working...he told me to look for the Stablemaster. The map also has an indicator of the Stablemaster.
And that’s it.. i arrived at Kaer Morhen without any problem.
Btw, you need to finished the quest “Following The Thread” before talking to Stablemaster... and i think “The Last Wish” also..

I see that the customers are getting restless. Mah, I can understand. 
An estimate of when v1.09 arrives, will probably cool the temperature in here, but in the meantime, we should keep our heads about ourselves. If anyone of you is really desperate to continue the main quest, I posted my Kaer Morhen gamesave back in page 8.

This worked. But man, i'm still very disappointed. If CDRP gets their shit together get a hotfix going i'll go back to my old save.
I do the same as you, Revisit this issue every day to see if someone found a solution or corrected the decision makers ..... as I said in my mail I was told to wait for the next update that nobody knows when it will come out ... could spend even months ...
does anyone know or how to find out the stablemasters id? or even how to just skip this part all together?
I am also checking this issue every day to see if there is a solution to this stupid problem. CDRP, please fix this problem now! You are losing a lot of fans!!!

As you can see they are planning to bring the fix in the next patch. Assuming that the next patch will be 1.09 we might have to wait a while because it would make sense for them to release it with the next DLC: Hearts of Stone which is set to be released somewhere in october. (please do note that i am merely assuming here)
Me and the community would really appricate if a mod could shed some light on this topic because nobody is looking to wait an other month to play a game they have already bought.
