unfortunately the chances of them giving you a refund is very small
the only thing you can do is wait and hope the next patch will fix the problem.

Yehhh I read that now. I thought every one is facing problem about quest from starting with that baron guy so I just updated the thread with my problem as 1st I faced problem with that baron Sergent but I don't know how after some random mission he talk with me but now quest is not advancing
We have to keep bumping this thread I think so that CDPR going to understand how important is this as this is not a 2ndary or contract quest. this is a main line story mission & without it it's not possible for us to advance in game.
i loaded the only old save i had left - some time before skellige - to test if the bug still appears when loading before it. Raced through the quests with yen - could talk to the sergeant and the stablemaster is spawning.
Judging by the answers from devs (or not really any answers - considering this thread is over one month old) i hardly doubt an eventual patch will fix bugged savegames. If this means that i will have to lose 50h+ of gameplay, essentially the whole week i took holiday to play this game - to complete it, so be it. I will think twice before buying the expansion though.
tl;dr : only possible known fix: load a save from before you got the ugly baby quest ( probably skellige questline)

Also the mods have declared that the fix will be in the next patch.When i asked, and i also directly asked the tech support of CDPR if an eventual fix (patch) will REPAIR bugged savegames, i did not get any answer about this. This is why i doubt this will happen. I wrote that so people will not continue playing the bugged savegame waiting for a patch, like i did.Same for @ TH3WITCH3R goes for you too.
