Bug: The Dead Have no Defence Side Quest

The NPC corpse with the key and letter bugged out and vanished.

I saw the body with witcher sense but, decided to deal with the bandits first.
The body disappeared either after I used Aard or Igni on the nearby exploding barrel.

Just ran into the same bug. It's the only treasure spot which is currently remaining for me in Velen. This is ridiculous. I'm not sure where the corpse is either.

This game truly has some atrocious and annoying bugs I have ever encountered in any game.
