Bug when trying reload save after death

Just a quickie.... just died in Velen trying to take a bandit camp. I tried to reload the game but the screen reverted back to a dead Geralt and no way of getting to any menu or anywhere except just looking at a dead witcher. Had to end the task unfortunately.

I don't think there's that much you can do here, other than try a different save game.
If death isn't instantly you can try potions too to prevent it.

It's a bug. Had the same stuff happened to me. Only option was to close the game and restart.
