BUGS after Patch 2.1

using old code ends in old bugs… even item visuals are rerolled to older versions like headgears (BDs) f.e. : /
Tbh, I don´t understand why are they still using an old code with the 2.1 update.. I kinda understood it with 2.0, since they were working on that pretty much since the launch but even then- they had to know, it´s not a great idea mixing an old code with the newest patched up version of the game=1.63 version..

my guess… simply rushed once again : /

No need to "understand", they didn't use "old code". It happened in all versions (1.63 and 2.0+ included).
If you search a bit on the forum, you will find some posts about this bug on pretty much each versions of the game ;)

„this bug“ ? By all the returning bugs you might get more precisely - there is not only one returning bug but countless ;) ;) ;)

and about different code versions for 1.63 and 2.0 even Pavel said they‘ve done it - twitterscreenshots were posted as proof. So it’s just logical if people take into consideration that they messed up the code versions in 2.1 with all those already fixed returning bugs ;) ;) ;)

1) The perk "Deep Breath" is not working for me.
Time does not slow down while the perk "Focus" is active.

2) After playing for a while, V is not able to call a vehicle.
Reloading a save will fix this issue.

I am playing on PS5.

I'm seeing some people suggest reporting bugs we encounter to cdpr support. Tell me that cdpr doesn't watch the cdpr technical forum. This thread here for example has 25 (..and counting) pages of players beta testing data. Beta testing after 3 years of release is another story though.

Officially CDPR does not browse their own boards, according to the moderatoers. If they do, we wouldn't know it. But, officially reporting bugs to support may provide them with more detailed information, system info, save data, videos, screenshots, and they may respond to you asking for additional testing/information.

So, please go ahead and report your issues as detailed as possible.

CDPR has their specific support section that can be found from the very top of this page (click support). As mentioned in post above, detailed support tickets are the best way for them to receive information that they need for solving technical problems. This technical forum right here is more for "gamer to gamer" help, which can also be very valuable and highly appreciated.

So lets play "find red mohavk girl" game!!
P.S yes its my another same NPC bug spam post:coolstory:

I had a similar problem with this perk on version 2.0.1 and 2.0.2, I'm not sure if it's a bug. The perk has a very low slowdown, only 25 percent. Have you tried using a smart gun or smart sniper rifle to see if time slows down? They don't have a scope and should be clearer, through a normal sniper rifle scope it may not be noticeable.

P.S. I'm just interesting because I never checked it myself.

At the start of "Beast in Me: Badlands", Claire has zombie arms - they stay that way for the entire conversation you have with her.
Clean 2.1 install; no historical use of mods; playthrough is entirely 2.1.

During "With a Little Help from my Friends", Bob isn't at the campfire where he should be (he instantly pops in as soon as you sit down).
I think this was also the case in 2.0; still happening in 2.1 though:

Have reported each to support - I'm sure they'll fix eventually.

Flash card in the "Red Dirt" bar hangs in the air after the concert in "A Like Supreme" mission.

The gig is successfully completed. Clean 2.1 game version , no mods used.

Hey everyone, first post here.
Love the game, sadly 2.1 really spoiled the fun, between melee finishers animations not triggering and many other bugs, i also have now the berserk invincibility glitch pretty much ruining my 60 hours save.
Any fix or workaround for this, i'm on ps5. Thanks!

You are correct, the 25% slow down is barely noticeable, but it is there.

I'm stuck in the stash room. Can't use the door panel to the right just says "ACTION BLOCKED"

A screenshot “with the blocked action message” would be more meaningful?
I advise you to send your bug report to support CDPR with the backup file giving access to this bug.

I'm sure that some people from CDPR view the forum, but a bug report is concise, specific and can be categorised easily and bugs can be prioritised depending on frequency and how much it affects the game, rather than trawling through 25 pages of unorganised complaints and at least dozens of irrelevant posts, like the one I am making now.

The point being that threads like this probably gets recognised and has some value but it is not a very effective way of getting data and CDPR probably don't want to encourage people using this forum as a bug report, hence why officially they state they do not check the forum. I mean, they definitely don't officially, but I find it highly unlikely some developers aren't looking at the forum at some point.

My settings somehow carried over even though I scraped the install and save folders before installing 2.1. Probably not ideal.

Performance is good so far though, but right away I encountered the weapon stuck to V's hand in the mirror. I'm reading here and there that I can expect this to be a normal occurrence in cutscenes too. Anyone found a fix or a mod for this yet that doesn't require constantly unequipping/stashing all your weapons?

I'm already considering going back to 2.01 just based on this lol.

Edit: Oh yeah I almost forgot programs like to stash things like this in the hidden AppData folder. I should know that by now.
