BUGS: Enhanced Griffin Steel Sword and Hidden Treasure @ Hangman's Alley

The chest that is supposed to contain the griffin steel sword enhancement doesn't seem to spawn in for me. Instead all i have a floating lamp. Another bug that I've encountered is the smugglers body at the hidden treasure by Hangman's Alley doesn't seem to spawn in for me either.

I'm playing on Steam with version 1.08
Using windows 10

Tried reinstalling the game and then going to a previous save before either locations were discovered. No avail, still doesn't exist.
