Well, someone did model the sails this way, so it was intentional.

Sails? I don't see any sails. You mean the frame? Yes wings are usually slightly angled, so that's another thing, if you're referring to that.

Yeah, well, I'm not an expert in windmill construction. 'Sails' is what Wikipedia told me those things are called. And yes, I'm referring to the things that catch the wind.

The wings get covered in sails, that's what helps the windmill catch the wind. In the gif it's just the frame, and a windmill wouldn't move with just the frame exposed and no sail on it.

You can see what I'm talking about in this vid:

I imagine CDPR are aware of physics, which is why I've never really bothered to mention the sails. It's probably due to the early stage the game was at when the footage was taken.

How the hell did we get from the in-game camera to windmills anyway?

If is windmill than it's rotating the wrong way opposite of wind (- plants ,smoke particles and cloth hanging),
if it's a watermill somehow than ....who cares. I want to play it...

I just hope the game has no camera auto-centering/resetting. Many console games have that feature but I find it extremely annoying. In the Witcher 2 the camera was fully manual so hopefully it will be the same.

This. A million times this. I hate the consolized auto-center in games. But it looked to be fully functional in the E3 demo.

TW2 camera was fine on xb360 for what it was back then. I just wanted like two more options maybe a zoom-pan-out, and an over the shoulder up-close combat view.
So yeah, 3 cemera options in total would be perfect for TW3.

I think on console, the camera button should be the little back botton like it is in GTA 5. I think it's called the share button now for next gen.
I think if it was the toggle button it would get in the way of combat like the medallion did for me in TW2.

Consolization is a disgrace in gaming. Look at Sacred 3 fell to death for being a great franchise because of it.

What I learn from gameplay videos ; when we outside camera on center and when going inside tavern or other places camera slips little left side. I actually like it very much.

To give a choice is always the best solution but scarce.
Personally i hate camera to the side from the character - not matter to the left or to the right, because it's lame solution in any action. I call it console-style camera and wonder how ppl like it
