Can anyone help, I broke my game 12 hours in!

So I just completed the main and side quests in the second act and I realized that I have come to an impassable situation:VERY SLIGHT SPOILERS............................................It turns out that I do not have the Sephirath that I was supposed to get off of the cockatrice and there is nothing down in the sewers for me to loot. I am really enjoying the game but I do not feel like trudging throught the first 2 acts again.I'm guessing that there is no hope for me to be able to get the missing Sephirath now, correct? So my question is, can someone mail/link me a saved game file of somewhere in the general area of where I was? Like I said I was in Act II and had just finished the main Investigation Quest. I was playing on hard but any difficulty would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

The cockatrice body will likely still be there if you did not loot it. Did you get it's head? If you did loot the body at all and select transfer all then the sepiroth will be there, only it will be in the part of your inventory that holds the quest items. If you didn't get it, the body will be there :).How to find it: Go to your options menu and select labels on, which names everything around you that's in sight, that'll highlight the body when you go back to get it. Below is a link to a map of the sewers showing you exactly where the cockatrice is.http://guides.gamepressure.com/thewitcher/guide.asp?ID=3652It will be at around number seven on the map. I've never had a body disappear if I've left a quest item on it so it should be there. Good luck.

I'll go check it out, although I searched thoroughly before. I can't remember if I looted all or just took the head. I know that it would be in the quest item portion of my inventory, I have all the other ones I need.

If you don't find it, so happens I do have a save near there with much of that done and a Geralt who's points I haven't spent since the end of Chapter one. This one hasn't slept with anyone and saved Abigail. But in that one the save is before going to Shani's party and he does have those quest items, etc. Let me know and I'll send it to you if you need, with a few quests that are done but not turned in yet.

I just looked and there is no cockatrice to be found. Interesting. I would be very happy to get your save game file, could you host it on a site for me to grab?

Getting it off to your email now. Check his quest book and items in the inn, cause I left a bunch of quests done but yet to be turned in. Reason I did that was someone else had lost all their game up to that point, and in order to give them the most chances to do things their way and collect cards and do their build. Rest before you leave the inn as there are at least sixteen points you'll have to distribute out :).I have USA english language version, hope that works out okay for you, and I was playing this one on the medium setting.
