Can I measure how long people need for a decision?

Hello,

I want to find out how long it takes for people to take a decision in a dialogue.

If all the other lines are not skippable, the only difference between people in how long the dialogue takes should be the time to take the decision.
Then I would be able to compare how long it took for different people.

But so far I don't know how I could do this.

I hope it might be possible to measure is using GameTime. But then the part about scripts in the wiki has not been very helpfull to me yet.

Maybe you can help?

Thanks,

Kenix

GameTime doesn't give you milli seconds.
You could use Log( "time : " + GameTimeSeconds( theGame.GetGameTime() ) );

You could log the time every time clicking LMB (when starting a dialogue with LMB and when chosing a dialogue line via LMB).

But afaik no REDkit user knows how to connect a script to a mouse button (click).

(So far I managed to conncect a hotkey ('v') to a script. But it's only working in a REDkit game session.)

Thank you. I will try that.

But did I get you right, that so far there is no way to get a Script running after cooking?

No, you got me wrong; I was ONLY refering to a script connected to a hotkey; not to scripts in general.
