Can I still get the Card Collector trophy after (spoilers)

...the battle of Kaer Morhen?


I am aware of certain missable cards like those you get from the inkeeper and the tutorial player in White Orchard, the players on the Vegelbud Residence during Triss' subplot and also missing or failing the A Deadly Plot quest where you free Thaler. I got the cards from all those and freed Thaler but I didn't start the Gwent Old Pals quest yet so I have to win the cards from Thaler, Zoltan, Roche and Lambert still. Also have to complete the Gwent Skellige Style quest which I couldn't finish because I had already sent Ermion to Kaer Morhen.


I also did the High Stakes tournament already and Zoltan's Dangerous Game Quest and kept the cards.


So, will I be able to obtain all the cards still?

Yes you can,assuming you havent done other quests that stop certain cards being available.

Sorry forgot, Lambert may not be available.

I believe thaler is still playable later but im not 100%.

Thanks. I just completed the Old Pals quest and I could play Zoltan, Roche and Thaler and while I couldn't play Lambert the quest marker pointed me to his bed in Kaer Morhen where i could pick up Triss' card to complete the quest.

You can actually play eskel instead. I have won the triss card of him in a previous playthrough. This ng+ playhrough i got a tortential rain.

Cool, I'll keep that in mind for a next play through (on my third atm, game is addictive or what? ).

Looking at things now, it seems I have done all the Gwent related quests and have obtained all the missable quest dependent cards. Think the ones I am missing are just from the random cards you get from merchants. Will have to start using a checklist to see what I'm missing.

Yea just make sure you do playing innkeeps in novigrad as that is potentially missable if you complete triss merigolds quest "Now or Never"

Yeah, thanks. I got the Card Collector trophy last night and also finished the game on DM for the Platinum Trophy (woot!).
