Can we please get New Game Plus.

+
I don't understand why New Game + is hard for CD Projekt Red.
It's not hard, they don't want to, slight difference. From what I understood, they thought it wouldn't work and decided not adding it. That's all.
Like what do I know now? Play a different game, that's what I do.
Start over or yes, play a different game. That's fine, it's a story-driven-solo game, not an end-less multiplayer game which try to keep you busy at all cost ;)

Real lame they won't add NG+.
I finished the game 15 times now I just wanna play with my gear, use the stuff from the start and not for the last 5 missions. I'm not looking towards getting all the clothes, cars and getting my favourite weapons that are like 60 hour away from me again.

If not NG+ just let us convert our stash and clothes to a different save. Or just give us our gear at the start of ACT 2.

Also I don't understand why some minions cry about NG+ not making sense story-wise, it's because NG+ is a gameplay element not story element you gonk, it never makes sense.
It didn't make story sense in Witcher 3 don't see people crying about it.

NG+ made more sense in Witcher 3 story-wise than starting from scratch. Geralt was a world famous S-tier Witcher at the beginning of the game. And the character progression features added in Blood and Wine left room for evolving your build.

V’s story in Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t lend itself to NG+ the same way.

Maybe they could give you some kind of arena mode similar to Witcher 2, if story’s not important to you.

Yeah because starting Witcher 3 NG+ with weapons like the Aerondight makes sense.

And Cyberpunk has builds too, and most builds only complete by the end of the game or when there's barely anything to do.

Again. NG+ is a gameplay element not story element. It's optional. Idk why there's so much crying against it. No need to glaze CDPR for stupid decisions.

You had the opportunity to end The Witcher with Aerondight, so yeah, it makes more sense story-wise than “I totally misplaced the cool sword that hot immortal spirit gave me after I slept with her.”

I personally don’t care about the presence or lack thereof of NG+ in any game, but I get why the developer’s attitude toward it might differ from game to game. I’m more baffled by some of the bugs they’ve elected not to even acknowledge, much less fix. At least the NG+ chorus is getting the courtesy of a definitive answer.

NG+ would have made the update a banger instead of a meh.
New paint jobs for a car? Seriously? I only ever use motorcycles anyway.

As has been pointed out here and in other threads before, there's a lot more to new game plus than just starting again with better gear.

Eg it may break quests if you have abilities that allow you to do them in ways you currently can't (eg by jumping), it may break quest event triggers, and an awful, awful lot more depending on the game.

They decided they weren't doing it. It's not likely to have been a "stupid decision" and it may have been down to story concerns (which really do make sense in Cyberpunk given that NG+ would fundamentally undermine everything the game is trying to say about what matters in life and what doesn't -- the game puts it cards on the table from the moment Dex asks you if you intend to go out in a blaze of glory or end your days smelling faintly of urine: he doesn't offer *both*), or something far more involved entirely. We don't know.

More likely devs being boneheaded. Like when we asked for auto pickup of materials in Diablo 3 for years and only got "picking up manually is part of the reward experience, sheesh, we are professionals and know better what makes a game fun, plebs". And then they casually added it in Diablo 4. Still not in 3 of course.

or end your days smelling faintly of urine
Aka the new Phantom Liberty ending.

Regardless of anyone's opinion, CDPR has weighed in on the subject like half a dozen times already.

Their stance has always been the same - it's not happening. It's way past time to move on from the subject.

At this point, threads asking for NG+ should be treated in the same vein as those asking for full nudity or third person. Just close them, it's not happening.

CP2077 is very easy, you can just drop the mod into the correct folder, and most of the ones on nexus have the path already set, The only thing is you'll need to have the required mods installed first,

My recommendation is to install the following mods before anything else as they are usually required for other mods:

Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET)
Red4Ext
Tweak-XL
Archive-XL
Codeware
Mod Settings
Native Settings UI

those should basically make any other mods work on your system,

I would Also strongly recommend using Equipment-EX and Cyberware-EX as they will add much deeper choice when customizing your character, you can mix and match clothing items, use more Cyberware and certain other mods may require them as well.

most of the mod pages have install instructions on them, but CP like i said is pretty easy to mod, most of them you can just un-zip and drop into the correct folder.
I've never been able to get CET to work on Deck.

Can we get a new game plus? It would give the game so much more replayability! I'm ok with starting over. But, there's too much cosmetics that you lose when you replay from scratch that you just don't find on a new play through.

I have earned end-game weapons, but I rarely use it because I have already done all the side quests and main quests in the game.

Exactly unless you have phantom liberty it screws you over. You might as well not have those existing especially how many had those not come up. Maybe make another expansion if Orion doesn't take off that allows us to show us prevscav haunt V instead of that stupid montage.
