Can we see Fake Ciri in Toussaint?

Can we see Fake Ciri in Toussaint?

I'm really disappointed by the absence of any mention of Cintra, Fake Ciri, or Emhyr's marriage to the latter in order to justify his rule over the Cintrans. That seems like it would be a major issue because if he's proclaiming Ciri to be his daughter then he's invalidated his own claim to Cintra, one of the most contested provinces in the whole of the North. It's fine if Ciri chooses to become his heir as she's the rightful Queen of Cintra but if it doesn't, that's an awfully big risk.

It seems to me that our visit to Toussaint is the perfect time to meet with Fake Ciri as it's safely behind Nilfgaardian lines and a pleasure province that's the perfect place for Emhyr to stick his wife until matters with the North are resolved. If Blood and Wine takes place after the main part of the campaign (or via teleport), I'd love to get some interactions with Fake Ciri and the real one too.

What do you think?

(I admit, a perverse part of me thinks that CD_Projekt Red should also make her an optional romance too--just to be deliciously F-ed up)

Finding out via Toussaint DLC that Emhyr had her put to death as an inconvenience would be nice.

To me its the natural answer. Doesn't seem the kind to keep around a political embarrassment.

True, though I thought he fell for her in the games.

That doesn't speak well for Emhyr's ability to love anyone.

And I say this as his biggest detractor.

I don't think it's really in character for him to murder a loved one.

After what he did to Pavetta and Cintra i wouldn't consider any action out of character when it comes to protecting himself and his line.

Did he really kill Pavetta?

I know he sacked Cintra but wasn't Pavetta actually lost on the sea or something? It's been a while since I've read the books.

I thought it was very open as to whether he pushed or if she fell during an argument. Massacring her people later is an interesting reaction to say the least.

Again, I'm Emhyr's biggest hater (and I am a hater) but there's some serious ambiguity about the whole thing, including his sacking of Cintra. Yeah, he ordered Cintra invaded but the Marshals and Generals involved in the massacre were all executed along with the majority of their supporters for their role in it.

Emhyr claimed they went against his direct orders.

Henselt is, understandably, sceptical but I'm inclined to think Emhyr wanted to seize his daughter back from Calanthe as the purpose of the invasion.

It's just the Nilfgaard aren't used to the kind of resistance the North put up and went all Murder-Happy.

Depends on what his direct orders were, my guess is they were much down to interpretation and after the fact he decided for political reasons to have a bunch of people executed because it suited him politically. I see little to support the argument that he's particularly sentimental about using people and then ending them once they are a liability.

He apparently, unless I seriously read it wrong, will do anything to further his line, even have a child with Ciri. So lets just ignore the Fake Ciri and hope this whole subplot never appears in the games :)

Eh, Fake Ciri is significantly less gross than that actual plotline.

As Emhyr marries Fake Ciri to secure his control over Cintra because he DOESN'T have it in him to marry/rape his daughter.

I am curious what kind of role she might play, though.
