Savegames get titled with the name of the quest you were doing at the time. This isn't very helpful, since after each sidequest you complete the game will select whatever main quest sequence quest you haven't yet done, and you end up with dozens of savegames all called "Gimme Danger". I'd like to be able to give my saves names which mean something to me.
The 'savegame' is stored in a folder with a name like 'ManualSave-XX', where XX is a number; and that folder contains a file with a name like 'metadata.X.json'. But the JSON file does not contain the name that is displayed in the load game screen. Instead it contains a code for the current quest. It does have a 'name' property, but the value of that property is the same as the name of the folder, and is not the displayed name in the load screen.
So: can you name savegames? And if so, how?
