In all honesty anyone that isn't happy should cancel their pre-order. CDPR has always had a VERY fair, better than industry standard return policy. They beleive that customer should be happy with their product. So if you are not happy i am sure CDPR will happily give you your money back.
But that really isn't the issue for people is it? Nope they want to convince the world that their SUBJECTIVE opinion that the game sucks or we were 'lied" to is "right." Well let me assure you that your SUBJECTIVE opinion is right but ONLY for you. It isn't right for me or the guy down the block or the girl across the country. Your subjective OPINION isn't an objective fact. So you telling us we are wrong or fanbois or blind is just you having a little hissy fit because we don't agree with your subjective opinion. So please get your money back, breath a sigh of relief that you dodged the terrible lies and crap game that is W3 while those of us who disagree can enjoy the anticipation. Its a win win.

Yeah good luck with that buddy, cause you ain't convicing me..I'm more of a Witcher fan as the next guy and I don't care even if the game has changed artstyles.
I would play and buy Witcher 3 even if it looked like Witcher 1..graphics is not what matters in this game..it's the story that I have been following ever since 2007.
Actually you know what? If all you care is the fucking graphics and not how it looks + plays + feels + the story then you should just cancel your preorder because you don't deserve to play this game and see how Geralt's story ends.

In game development things change..things get upgraded downgraded and side graded..it's how this shit works to get to the point where the game can actually run on majority of machines and not just high end PCs that cost over 1500$

Not true. Remember that Event where all the cool guys and girls went? You know the youtubers and journalists? That one ran on a PC. And older build of the game, but PC nontheless. Also gamestar made a 4k video about the PC version. Without Day 0 patch ofcourse.

yep. sucks not having hours of 60 fps pc footage from gopher, jesse, angry joe, melonie mac, etc but I digress. It's not like it's gonna be worse than what we've already been shown isn't it? I understand the concern of not seeing the final build but honestly, this concern should only be applicable for consoles because of the very real possibility that the hardware simply couldn't keep up and have to be adjusted.. More than anything, I'm fairly confident the PC build would just look and perform better than the past builds we've seen

I will not cancell my preorder, simply because the positive points are vastly overshadowing the negative ones.
Sure i am disappointed with the graphical downgrade but at the same time im willing to give CDRP the benefit of the doubt and actually criticize the game as i play it.
So no, despite the graphics even if they were pixels im more interested in the 90% of what the game will provide to me.

Well I never Pre-order games, due to the fact that you're not actually buying a game, you're buying hype.
Frankly if you Pre-order a Game you lose the right to complain the games crap when it's released.
So to those who cancel now due to last minute cold feet, I've got to ask why the hell did you pre-order any game, even this one, at all.
Also noticed they were all Steam buyers as well, so a word of advice for those Steam Cancelations. When you realise this game is awsome, get it on GOG instead as penance, not for cancelling, but for pre-ordering at all, from Steam, the worst places to get any game sold on GOG.
Now Having said I never pre-order, I actually sort of broke that rule for the Witcher 3, but I did so to support GOG, if the game ended up being unexpectedly rubbish, it didn't matter to me. GOG was always getting my money for it.
I didn't buy any of the Hype to start with, The game is Awsome, acclaimed by all reviews so far and no PC reviews are out, not I think for any other reason than CDPR want reviews of the finished game.
I'll judge it myself, solely on what's installed on my PC and nothing else matters.

Also, to another poster, let's not go through the fun of both sides presenting their evidence of downgrade or not. Been there, tried that. So much flame. Game is out in a few days.

The consoles are limited to the options they can use in games, like effects, because of their hardware being vastly out of date.
The PC version will simply have more effects and options than the console versions.
Plus we can mod the game on PC but they cant mod it on Consoles. What that means is that when mods come out at the start it might be nothing but give and take 1-2 months and maybe we will have something good, like for example textures at 4k of the current textures.

You compare an OLDER build on PC to the release version and expect it to be the same but not improved?....
This surely has a lot do with The Witcher 3 pre-order.
