Cannot launch game from Steam
I am unable to launch The Witcher Enhanced Edition from steam, after I attempt to open the game my screen goes black and I see the in-game cursor as if the game is loading, when I get a windows error saying the application crashed.
Here I will list what I have attempted to fix the issue:
-Reinstalling (3 times)
-restarting computer (twice)
-adding a shortcut to desktop
-Running in every compatibility mode
-running as administrator
-uninstalling/reinstalling DLC (twice)
-Downloading and running patch 1.4/1.5 from the official website
-verifying integrity of game cache
-launching from launcher instead of from steam
-attempting to register game
