Cannot Register the Game?

I never really tried registering the game back in 2011, it failed back then and I really didnt see a point to do so in a DRM free game. However now I just wanted to add my arena score - I could not. I click on register game on the launcher and it brings me to the forum registration page, even though it shows me im already registered, I tried looking for register.exe but did not find it in the my installation directory. I have a steam version of the game, and a gog version but I want to use steam for the achievements. Any solution to the problem?

Steam has their own leaderboards . You can view this by
Steam>library>witcher 2 then click achievements to the right . Then just to the right of Personal Achievements is the Leaderboards tab

Oh, so the steam version is not linked to the site in any way?

No - if you want to use the leaderboards here, you'd need to use the Gog version, at least for Arena.
