Can't continue the game

Bought The Witcher III. I loved it for about 2 hrs. I'm lvl 3. My next main quest is for a lvl 7 character. I've tried taking side quests to raise my lvl. As soon as I accept a side quest it disappears. Sometimes I get a message on the side of the screen saying a waypoint has been added. I go to the map and nothing has been added. Basically paid $60 for a game I can't play.

Should contact the support team about this, never seen nor heard of the issue you're experiencing.

I would say you are playing it and not understanding how to pay it! if this was a bug the forum would be full of it.

The quest notifications appear briefly on the left side of the screen and then all quests are added to your quest log, which you can access from the main menu. Should be plenty for you to do in there. Are they not getting added?

They're not showing up in the journal. Main quests show up, but none of the secondary quests are being added to the journal. Now I keep getting killed because I can't draw my sword. F this game.

You should click on 'secondary quests' tab.
