Cant even get through tutorial

Ok, loaded the game and started it. Am in the tutorial, but stuck at the place where I select attributes from leveling up. I got into charachter development, selected something from the trining branch. But when I exit, I still get the message to go to the character menu and select attributes.

As far as I recall, you then need to select an attribute and put a mutagen on it to proceed.
