Can't get past the main menu of the game (Steam Version)

Hi there, I just bought The Witcher off the Steam sale yesterday and installed it, when I start the game in Steam everything goes fine, the intro credits roll and the movie shows, but when I reach the main menu, the backgrpound is displayed fine, however the text (That says 'options' 'resume game' etc) are all overlapped, and when I click on any of them it simply lights up green and makes the sound effect, but doesn't let me start the game, or open the options, it won't let me enter ANYWHERE past the main menu, so I'm stuck looking at the main menu screen.Here is a screen shot of what it looks like: http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/7522/witcherb.jpgDoes anyone know a solution for this? That load screen isn`t right as you shouldn`t be able to see any of the acts.Have you verified the file integrity through steam and also checked for updates

Hi, thanks for getting in touch so soon!I've just finished verifying the integrity of the cache in Steam, and when it finished it gave me a prompt saying '2 files failed to validate and will be reacquired.' and now Steam is downloading what I'm assuming are those files, so hopefully this works afterwards, I'll get back to you to let you know if everything went okay
