Can't persuade Radovid in EE?

Hi, is there any way to persuade Radovid when you talk to him in Loc Muinne, in EE version, because persuasion fail all the time for me. I noticed some errors in the end of chapter 1 too, when i use persuasion or Axii and says it failed, but the dialogue shows it worked. It worked fine before EE patch.

Is there some way to fix this, specially in Radovid's case?

Thank you in advance.

There are a few cases (I know of at least 3) where you get "AXII HEX FAILED" even though the result was successful. It's a known error, and it's harmless.

you must have your persuasion skill to 3.

This is certainly not the case for these scripted instances of persuasion. It is a known bug. These are always reported to fail, even though they did not fail.

Yes, "the Axii Hex failed" is not really a problem, but when i talk to Radovid, i really don't want to tell him about who killed Henselt, because i don't know if it will have any implications for the future (Witcher 3). In this specific case, you can see it really fails.

My Hex, Intimidate and Persuade are all level 3.

Or maybe now it's an automatic fail because the journal says it's very tough to BS him. Makes it more consistent.

It would be if it were not consistent with several other cases where the game announced "AXII HEX FAILED" and then proceeded with a result consistent with success. (The Archpriest in the Prologue, Zyvik early in Act II, and I believe there are others.) It's more consistent with the game behavior being a bug introduced in EE.

Are you sure its a bug cause I just loaded my save file to check it and got Axii hex successful then reloaded and got successful again, another reload and axi hex failed. Not every copy of the game has this bug then

Is this an EE game? The "Axii hex failed" bug was first noted in EE. Or I may have confused this dialog with the ones that are known to be bugged. If so, just ignore what I said.

I think the failing axii with the archpriest may have been intentional, because I don't think you have any other dialogue options than to try and hex him. CDPR may have felt that it was better to just have everyone experience the 'succesful' option but didn't want them to automatically level the axii skill up as well (which should only level up if you actually choose hex options).

May just be a bug, though. I don't know about the other cases you named.

I’ve also had no luck with persuading Radovid after the EE. I even reloaded a couple of times and it always ended with a failure. Prior to EE I’ve never had a problem with it.

Apart from Radovid,I also found it impossible to intimidate the relic peddler in Henselt's camp on Roche path since the EE.

As far as I remember both before EE and it couldn't persuade Radovid it always resulted in fail for me. I thought that was scripted? Is that really a bug? And unlike what you guys are saying, I never faced such a thing, saying failed but proceeding as successful. Am I lucky or something?

Eh? I never had trouble with persuading Radovid or intimidating the relic peddler pre-EE.

Well I'm using EE and the archpriest work fine for me sometimes I get axii hex failed and sometimes successful, if its not working for the first time I reload till it works.

Same with Radovids conversation, I see persuation successful or persuation failed, reload till I get what I want. I can even provide the screenshots
