Bumping for support. As a partially disabled gamer... this is inexcusable.

I also have the same problem. My disability makes me unable to use a keyboard, so I'm using a gamepad with a program called Antimicro, which translates the gamepad input into keystrokes. Antimicro works with every other game I have played, but in Cyberpunk, none of the inputs come trough.

I have been told that the fix I posted apparently works with Antimicro.

Decided to make a patcher for fixing the virtual inputs problem based on the fix by oppai, just posted it on reddit. Autohotkey works perfectly now.

I have used the patcher... awesome work! Thanks a lot :)

There's a mod on the Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus that can fix the virtual input bug without the need to manually modifying the game exe:
www.nexusmods.com

Cyber Engine Tweaks

Performance fixes, Bug fixes and fun Hacks to play with!
www.nexusmods.com www.nexusmods.com

It's fixing some performance issues as well. Just drop the files in [...]\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 and that's it. It should also work after game updates.

So pre ordered my copy on Steam some time ago. My PC pretty much maxes out the PC requires; RTX 3090, I7 8086k at 5 GHz, 32 GB Ram, etc. Can't use Joy2Key controller with my controller of choice for Cyber Punk however. I'm read all the posts here and I'm particularly sorry for the gamers with disabilities. Very tough situation. I'm actually confident that the devs will work up a patch to fix the third party controller issues. BUT there are tons of other issues with other platforms in addition to those on PC. This game sadly was not ready for release. Can't tell me otherwise. I did some searching this evening and the devs are apologetic but asking for time, considerable time, to develop fixes. I don't mind waiting as I have a few other games and sims to occupy my time. But I won't let Cyber Punk linger on my PC waiting for patches. I got a refund from Steam this evening and uninstalled the game. CD Projekt is informing people they will aid in getting refunds if that is what they want. I will simply repurchase when I can read a review of the game where everything is spit and polish clean. For something fun, go to YouTube and search for Cyber Punk fails. Lots of footage of cars falling from the sky or people levitating, This is not the first game released too early and it won't be the last. It's an ambitious game and I look forward to playing it but I don't want to be a test subject to fix it. Done that in the past with other titles but not this time. Good luck and hopefully the controller fix comes sooner rather than later.

Confirm, the fix works. I play games using Smartnav, Xbox Assistive controller + 4 switches, reWASD and Spikit (Polish voice control software). reWASD and Spikit don't work without the fix. After fixing works and can play. Yay!

The mod doesn't require hex editing and I can confirm that at least virtual keyboard inputs work. might fix your controller.

Someone made a request for a mouse steering mod on the Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus forums. If you'd like that option let the modders know here:

Mod Request: Turn vehicle with mouse - posted in General Cyberpunk 2077 Discussion: No idea if this would even be possible but it would make driving feel a lot nicer with M&KB. So an example is how all the Halo games work. Holding W still accelerates the vehicle but instead of using A and D to...

Maybe someone will make it happen if it's possible.

Can a moderator pin the solution in the topic as the community has created functional workarounds until CDPR addresses this - which doesn't seem to be a priority.

I am also disabled and have low mobility in my hands and use Autohotkey to change keys. Since AHK won't work I am unable to play this game. Another problem is that I use a trackball mouse and need a fast mouse speed, but there is no sensitivity option to speed up mouse movement while in the game menus. I refunded the game until they fix these issues.

I can confirm it too. I am also paraplegic and use an arcade stick with xpadder (link removed) and a mouse to play pc games. Until now it has always worked. Cyberpunk is the first game that obviously blocks the functionality of xpadder.

Any news on mouse steering? I don't really know how the program works but I found ''alt controller'', maybe it can be useful for this use. With this program you can make frames in overlay, then you associate keys to these frames and when the mouse enters the area you activate the command.

I feel your pain, I'm disabled in my left arm and wrist and hand, my fingers stay closed most of the time, so it's hard for me to play games without the assistance of a 80's style arcade stick for moment and a 20 button mmo mouse for everything else, and when thats not enough I have to emulate running and other moments to my peddle set. I have found that voice dictation is useful, but not the programs like vice attack etc, they are useless, because they use microsoft voice dictation and it's a pain. for voice dictation I use dragon legal individual, it has a macro recorder in it that allows to map buttons etc to voice commands. this works outside the game so the game can't block it, it thinks your pressing the button. But the program is expensive, I can't provide links but I'd try looking for torrents to try the software before you buy. In addition, there is the xbox adaptive controller as well

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-xbox-adaptive-controller-white/6381218.p?skuId=6381218&ref=212&loc=1&ref=212&loc=1&msclkid=82c9325ef0ad13db2f0a6d849eba63df&gclid=CLHL2dSr0-0CFcvcswodMPYPoQ&gclsrc=ds

this will allow a hardware level emulation that the game can't block. and this works for my arcade stick and flight stick and peddles, along with my racing wheel.

it's a shame that we as disabled individuals have to result in spending money to play a game, that most people can play without issue, and I do feel that this is discrimination, and it may or may not be intentional. Whatever, the case may be we spend 60 + on the game and for me I've had to spend 600 plus on software and hardware to play the game, now grant you the voice dictation helps in other ways that makes it worth it for me, but to the avrage gamer, then this wouldn't be worth it. I can't type so voice dictation is helpful there. anyway I digress, yes I think project cd red needs to include a patch that allows for third party emulation of key inputs, but it's sad that they didn't include it form the get go. it's not like this game is a online title, that may come but what the harm in allowing people to play a game the way they want, as long as it doesn't interfer with others playing the same title. enough said thats just one man's opinion. and I hope this information was helpful.

(n)(n)(n) There is no excuse for not completing the PC controls. There is no excuse that left-handers and the disabled cannot play the game. There is no excuse that the CDPR has not bothered to say anything about this issue to date. There is no excuse that buyers cannot get their money back for a defective product. CDPR has completely lost face in the eyes of its devoted fans. I am very disappointed. (n)

Has anyone noticed mouse sensitivity issues? I changed the settings for mouse sensitivity to the highest setting but it didn't change the overall mouse speed. The mouse still moves so slow while in the game menus. Is there a way to fix this?
