Can't save anymore.

Hi everyone, I'm writing here because I have a problem with my saves. I lost some of them with no reason. Few days ago the fact, I deactivated Steam Cloud but I don't think it depends from this. Furthermore I can't save anymore. I click on save but it doesn't create a new save.

I can't understand why is happening this.:hmm:
I hope you can help me.

There is a thread here about issues related to Steam Cloud, some of the suggestions posted could be helpful, since others apparently also encountered similar problems.

You can also get GOG version here (use your game id from Steam) which doesn't rely on Steam cloud.

Also, if using Windows 10, go to your ...Documents\The Witcher 2\... folder and set the Permissions to "Everyone". Add both Steam and the game's installation directory to the exclusions list of any anti-virus / firewalls, etc.
