Can't Select the DLSS Frame Generation

+
hi guys
I just noticed, that for some reason, I can't select the DLSS Frame Generation in my ingame graphics configuration.
I was watching this YT (
) video talking about recent cyberpunk news and performance after latest patch, and this vid made me want to check my ingame graphics setting.
As you can see around 3:25, there's "DLSS" as an option for frame generation.
If I go in my settings to change the frame generation option (see attached screenshot), the game allows me to pick only Off or AMD Frame Generation, and completely skips the DLSS option, it's not even shown. Also if I change this option, it will automatically change all other settings forcing my config to go from DLSS to AMD.
My GPU is 4080 and I'm using updated drivers, the game was fresh installed one week ago.
So why isn't the DLSS frame generation showing up and only the AMD one is available? I'd appreciate any suggestion

Edit: FIXED
One of the following fixed the problem:
1) deleting GOG and re-installing it in the same drive where the game is located
2) enabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling

Hi,
So if I undestand, on the second screenshot, you're "stuck" on AMD FSR?
Does DLSS frame generation worked before?
You are on Win 10 or Win 11?
If Win 10 (it's enbaled by default on Win 11), just to be sure, check if Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling is enabled

You can also try to perform a clean-install of your drivers, just to be sure :
I. Download the latest drivers using the following link: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
II. Download Display Driver Uninstaller and run it to remove previous versions of drivers.
III. Clean install drivers that you've downloaded in step 1.
Or according to some member, the last Nvidia drivers have issues, so maybe if a clean install doesn't fix the issue, give a shot to the previous version.

Thx for the reply, I managed to fix this!

But I noticed something else: if I pick the 'ultra ray tracing' graphic preset, it will show me many ray tracing options that I can turn on or off. If I turn on the "Ray Reconstruction" and then confirm the change, those raytracing options will disappear (screenshot attached).
Is this the intended behaviour of the settings?
Kinda offtopic but, is there any significant difference between the DLSS option "quality" and "DLAA" ?

As far as I know (I don't play on PC so I can't say for sure), but I think it's a normal behaviour. When enabling Ray Reconstruction, "regular" Ray tracing settings disappear because they're not used anymore.

Again, not an expert, but from what I understand :
(In short, DLAA is DLSS without upscalling, so in theory better quality but no significant performance improvements)
DLAA keeps your rendering resolution scale at 100% and just applies the AA solution.
DLAA is just DLSS that renders the game at native resolution for aliasing purposes. It's the best possible quality within DLSS. It wont get you extra FPS.
