Carrying sory from W2 (Steam) to W3 (PS4)

Will this be possible? I currently own The Witcher 1 and 2 on PC, and I know for a fact that I will be getting nr 3 for PS4 when it's out. Simply wondering if I can somehow connect to my steam account and transfer my storyline over when the time comes so that there won't be any inconsistencies?

Do other games let you do that? I'm wondering if that's why you're asking this question. Sorry, I don't know about the workings between Steam and PS3. I think it might not be possible because these are two very different platforms.

CDPR have said that they're looking into these issues, but it's all going to depend on what's technically possible. It may be possible transfer files, it may be possible to answer some questions so that it knows your key decisions.

At this point, best to assume it won't be possible. Downgrading from PC to console for Witcher 3, which, with its open world, is sure to be a modder's heaven? Madness.
