CD Activation code for W2 Collectors Edition not working on Steam or GOG, would prefer steam

I have double and triple checked the activation code for Steam and GOG and it does not work anywhere. I would prefer a code that works on Steam if CD Projekt Red is going to supply a backup code as that is where most of my game are housed.
