Cd projeckt red, i love your game!
Hey CD PROJEKT RED,
(very minor spoilers! Nothing story related)
I just wanted to write and say, that I am thoroughly enjoying this experience. It IS incredibly different, fresh, and just packed with so much detail, I don't know what to DO WITH MYSELF! (that's a great thing!). I'm a little past Bloody Baron areas (Playing on Hard Difficulty), and I really love how organic the quests and side quests come into play, it all just wraps itself up in one big adventure and the amount of story-telling here is just tremendous.
The artistic detail and environmental design in this game is just..... it just keeps blowing me away. Each area delivers it's own feelings (whereas most games have just a few atmospheric flavors all the way through in terms of how the environments look... THIS game just keeps delivering, and delivering quest after quest. I never feel the same going into a new story each time.. nothing feels recycled, and it all makes exploring so much fun.
Whereas in most games I will run around crazy moving from place to place, in this game, I will walk, and soak in what's going on around me, taking it all in. I have not been to Novigrad yet, but I DID go to Oxenfurt, and it's just the way you guys present the whole thing... like just the touch of having to present a letter in order to walk in was just.. it adds to the whole 'flavor' of how this city is protected and sealed off from most everyone except nobles/soldiers. And then just the environmental detail, the people, and the audio design when you go in.. it's like you're literally IN a visual novel in this game. And if a full out novel were made into a video game with the DETAIL of an actual novel, I'd have to say that this game is definitely it.
Great Job here... I hope to see more RPGs like this in the future. It's going to take so long to get through this game, but I have ZERO complaints.
Well.. the controls can be a little finicky at times.. but.. it's super minor compared to the scope of this beast of a game.
I'm sure that when I am at the conclusion of this game, I will probably be worn out from it. But I'm sure as the months pass, it WILL definitely get to be a missed experience, which is why I'm super glad you guys are making two more stories, because they will be well received, I'm sure!
