Cd project red we need in game wild animals

When for the first time I was playing first TW it's made a big impression to me, it feel like a real fantasy world especially with all wild animals, and now when I got my hands on TW2, excellent except no wondering animals just sound, so it was really devastating to me, so please I bagging you CD PROJECT RED to do some kind of DLC for animals, please!...

Ducks, cats, dogs... We need them all. At least we have birds in the sky.

I would love to see more animals as well, it would simply make this the most convincing medieval themed world ever.
I hope some DLC is in the works for it :)

from the other thread:

"One thing is missing from TW1. Those crypts that send the chills down my spine, because of their unique atmosphere, in TW1, with all their inhabitants too. Where are the Vampires, Ghouls and all their families?

Also, all the small animals we can see in TW1. Where are the dogs, geese, birds? All we have left are crows? heh"

Yea miss the animals. But no more dog killing quest please

If TW ever gives us a quest where we have to kill cats, I am not playing (hyperbole, but still!)

I was laughing when first time I saw in third chapter, contract to kill dogs for a gravedigger, of curse I didn't sign for this as Wiedzmin code forbidden to kill dogs, unless their are evil...

Yup the game does lack in the wildlife department. It does act as a bummer to immersion when you hear constant animal sound but no animals around.. How taxing can it be to model a few animals and put them in the game??

Indeed, I missed wildlife animals. Would be great if they were added with next patch.

Dude, can you imagine how heavy the game would be with all those additional real time objects running around on scripts, doing basically nothing but pleasing the eyes.

I mean, back when my machine was still puny (Pentium IV), I couldn't play TW1 without getting crashed every 2 hours or getting incredibly lags, simply because of a pack of ducks in the background!

Good thing if CDPR decides to make it a DLC, so there would be an option. And I hope the same thing would be true for TW3.

There are animals. They're making sound, so you know they're there.

They're just so ninja that you can't see them.

Pentium IV was very bad CPU. I had no bugs running game on Athlon 3700+.
Please, don't understand this as first spark of a flame. Practically this CPU was one of the most horrible, same time it has great engeneer desicions, but was very bad in practice: too hot, too slow, too buggy.

I personally would like to see this, but I can see where this could possibly go wrong. For instance, let's say Geralt's about to climb a ledge and there's a wolf or some thing up there. Seeing that you can't push NPC's in TW2 I would be afraid of Geralt getting stuck inside of the wolf or vice versa. Depending on the content, animal rights groups may be another problem. I agree though, that it would add a lot to the immersion of the game seeing that right now the only animal you see in the game is that guy's dead dog near the asylum which was recycled from TW1.
