CD Projekt Conference, Spring 2011

I hope you all don't have plans for next week's Thursday. If you have cancel it. Here's CDPR's press release:
CD Projekt RED has just set the date of its spring conference, which will take place on the 14th of April 2011 in Warsaw, Poland. With the release date of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings right around the corner, the conference will provide lots of important information for everyone who is even remotely interested in buying the game. The event will cover following topics:
  • Minimum and recommended system requirements, as well as their effect on the game’s performance,
  • Differences in specific language versions and censorship,
  • Copy protection will be talked about in greater detail,
  • Importing save-game data from the first part of The Witcher,
  • REDengine details,
  • And many more.
    • Senior Producer, Tomasz Gop will be the event’s keynote speaker on behalf of CD Projekt RED. He will host a presentation during which he will answer a lot of important questions about the game. As usual the conference will gather journalists, investors and industry representatives from various regions of Poland. [moderator]The English part of the conference will be broadcasted live at facebook.com/thewitcher and at the game’s official website http://www.thewitcher.com/. The broadcast will start at 4:00 PM (GMT)[/moderator].

damn, I hate live broad casts, they are ALL in Low quality, you cant see shit!If it was a prerecorded video then you could download it with HD quality.Though the "never-before-seen" footage doesn't sounds so shabby either

Do you know what's the hour of the conference and if it will be streamed?

Oh no, I have my physical therapy at the same time. Which I really don't want to cancel. But I want to see that conference, too!Is there any information if they will provide the footage for download sometime afterwards, preferably in high quality? It would really be a good idea; a lot of people have to work in the middle of the day. Which it is in Europe.

Excellent! I just finished replaying the game and I have to say that it is not one where the ending is easy to save. I have a save from the last spot where it is possible, the garden of the cloister of the Flaming Rose after Geralt killed the GrandMaster. Nothing left but a short chat with Dandelion.I got the armor, the two swords, almost 10,000 orens and a lot of potion ingredients. Plus all the choices I made along the game. Which were more than a few. I am dying to see how that influences things. Oh, and the Lady of the Lake made me a knight.

I'm very confident that it will recorded and accessable for all those who can't watch it live... like me. My boss would be very irritated if I follow the conference at work and even post comments.@nov.plI don't think CDPR will reveal spoilers. They don't do it in interviews, etc. Why should they do it on the conference. They would kill all the excitement for the game.

Okay, I see I was confused with the time zone... Poland is GMT+1, right? Plus one hour daylight saving time. Cool, that means it is in the evening, not in the afternoon and I will be able to watch it, yay! :D
