CD Projekt. Please just have Steam unlock this game already.

I can easily get console players having it a day or 2 early but a week?

This will mean:
- many, many spoilers.
- WAY too many youtube vids that I simply cannot resist watching

On the bright side, it means we'll have guides by the time we start playing

Still, I'd rather play the game now just like console players!

I completely agree. There is already people from all around the world playing it on PS4 (if you search you'll find tons of streams on twitch : germans, arabs, frenchs and british people already playing). This waiting is fucking KILLING me because i'm a Pc player and steam unlocks only on may 19th

And what is with the players, who preordered the game from amazon or the other official partners? If the game will be unlocked, we've to wait 2 or 3 days longer. Would be stupid too.

Basically you are saying give it to me too, i don't care that others have to wait, unless i get it now.

Well, its very possible that retail stores already have the discs of ps4 and xbox one and pc versions, they generally receive it 1 or 2 weeks prior to release, so it would not be a problem at all. That is the reason for leaked PS4/Xbox One versions, some retailers selled it before the release date without CDPR permission.

What is needed is the "OK" from CDPR and the retailers would sell the physical copies that they already have , it would not be a problem.

I'm not demanding special treatment because I'm a PC player and I think we 'deserve' it.

Merely stating that the game is playable, and it would be possible to unlock now for those who have. Though I sympathize with those who have yet to receive their retail copy.

Also, I'd suggest not mentioning the word "facts" followed by the word "kid" when I just turned 32 yesterday. That's basically undermining the point of using facts when you are throwing around nonsensical semi-insults.

The irony of telling someone to know the facts whilst at the same time having zero idea wtf you are talking about.

The console versions of the game have leaked in numerous countries. People are playing the full game.

Those who have receiving special treatment are console players since there are a lot of people out there that are ALREADY PLAYING before release, only on console (PS4 and X-ONE). PC players will have to wait so it is quite the opposite, console players are receiving special treatment.

I may remember as well that PC version of the game was not reviewed by any website yet, because CDPR says that PC Version needs the day1 patch to run. Only PS4 versions of the game was reviewed.

The truth is: CDPR fears that PC version leaks to the internet from the reviewers so they lifted the review embargo to the PC version until may 19th.

Sorry, no. You are complaining that others can play, but you cannot. If we were to release now, all the players who do not yet have the game because they are not physically in their stores until early next week would be in the same situation. Just because a few stores have broken the date does not mean the date will change.

The release date is May 19 1am CET.
