CD Projekt RED opens new studio in Cracow

We are very happy to announce the opening of a new CD Projekt RED studio in Cracow, Poland. The new studio will bolster the development of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077.
A new studio, new people and new energy - were growing and were extremely excited that we can tap into the potential that Cracow has to offer. We want to continue to make better and better RPGs and the new studio is another big step in that direction. Cracow, one of the cultural and scientific centers of Europe, is a really special place that will leave a significant mark on our games. said Adam Badowski, Head of CD Projekt RED.
Additionally, we would like to invite everyone whos interested in joining our ranks to take a look at the career section located on our official blog, where you will find job listings from both Warsaw and Cracow.

Glad to hear it and I'm hoping for some sort of video show-casing the new offices.

I hope they aren't growing too fast... might loose control of so much people.

When can we expect new CD Projekt studios outside Poland? Like... in the Basque Country... to say an example I have no personal interest at all

They will help with the release of TW3 and Cyberpunk but that does not have to mean that the game will come any sooner.

I remember visiting Crakow back in 2002. Beautiful city. They have this castle that was nearly blown up by the Germans during WW2 and apparently the explosion was prevented by someone in the last few minutes.

Great. New studio will speed up development. Less doubts that they will not have enough time to polish TW3 and CP2077 before releases. I am glad they have enough money to afford expansion.

Congratulations. Do good work there. I hear Krakow is a beautiful place, but I know my family would never let me move :)

Oh and... CDPR, you're expanding fast.
I'm starting to see parallels to Nilfgaard here. :p

Depends on where you live.
It can also be spelled Kraków or Cracow.

The correct spelling in English is "Krakow" though, just like you wrote it. :)

Just don't kill the local Dragon with sulfur stuffed lambs. We know it's superstition...
