CD Projekt RED’s official announcement about another information leak regarding The Witcher 2

"Unfortunately, I have to confirm that the video which appeared a few days ago on the Internet is indeed a presentation of The Witcher 2. It’s a video of a demonstration of the game during the so-called business days of the IGROMIR game expo in Russia,” said Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD Projekt RED.“It was a closed demonstration for business partners, representatives of the biggest trade chains and a handful of chosen journalists – one of many such demonstrations CD Projekt RED has been doing in various countries. Unfortunately, despite a declared ban on filming and photography at all such events, someone managed to shoot a video at IGROMIR. Just like last time, we will not comment on that. Simultaneously, we can assure you that all confirmed information will be revealed soon after the game is officially announced.”

Heh, I guess it does kind of suck for you guys to have people leaking all over the place. But us, we're all like fat kids with cake.

I don't know who is the offender but this person is untrustworthy for the company he/she is working for. If this person is revealed it's certainly disadvantageous for the (responsible) company hwo send this person to the presentation. I wouldn't give them an invitation there is a similar presentation of importance.... "sorry guys, we can't trust you anymore, you stay outside"
Yes, for the fans it's a treat.

What she said!I know that secrecy is common, but really, I'd think it would only help you for potential publishers to know that you have fans jumping up and down saying, "Did you SEE that? Doesn't it look wonderful? Can I buy it NOW?"At least, that's what this fan is saying. ;)Corylea, unashamed The Witcher fangirl

I think that if they cared to record the video and leak it it is that they think it is worth the risk because TW2 looks awesome, otherway they wouldn't care  Take it as a praise more than an offense.

i find it rather difficult to believe that it wasn't obvious to the people in the room that someone was shooting that ... come on! the "shooter" was directly behind the person at the computer

I read the bad translation from the Russian fansite about this tentacle creature and was clouded because I didn't understand much but eager for more precise details. I confess when I watched this video I was overjoyed

I think it pretty obvious the position of the person who made the shot...Assuming this was not set-up, was that individual reprimanded? What were the consequences of their choice?

We've just seen a few minutes of the alpha version of the game in a poor quality video, is it enough to assert that the "dark and mysterious aura" has vanished? Besides, we don't know anything about the story and quests... Don't worry, i'm sure the dark and mature atmosphere will still be there, and even more powerful! P.S. : it seems i'm one of the few people here who like Geralt's new haircut ;)

I like it, too. A lot more than the old one.Aqer, that's a rather silly assumption to make based on this tiny video..

I just say it because of that huge monster at end of the video. It looks like from God of War ;)And with that haircut he looks more like Vesemir than Geralt. It would be great to have some options for choosing i mean : This haircut,The old haircut and maybe some with headband like in books Saga :) ;)

Witcher 2 is really something to wait for. I was hoping it's not all the way "blue" (meaning in the first trailer the ground, characters, sky etc, were very blue-toned like in Twilight movie) and that second trailer proved it's not. Great. Variety of colors brings much more different emotions and atmospheres. The trailer looks delicious!

The fight with the "Octopus" was ridiculous and looked boring, after that, I even stopped looking, couldn't bare it anymore, pathfinding problems, he wasn't doing anything, just running around drawing his sword, pffff, think you ladies and gentlemen are really easily pleased !Definitely an Alpha product I reckon :wall:
